6/29/09 - 3rd Annual 7NBC CW56 Partners HealthCare Health & Fitness Expo Huge Success

Over 70,000 people attended the 3rd Annual 7NBC CW56 Partners HealthCare Health & Fitness Expo held at the Hynes Convention Center this past weekend.

More than 100 exhibitors were on hand offering Free health tests, screenings and services and important health information. Some of the more than 30 FREE health tests, screenings and services included: Ask the Doctor, Nutritionist & Pharmacists, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Body Composition, Body Mass Index, Chair Massage Cholesterol, Glaucoma, Glucose, Hearing, IgE, Kidney, Memory, Osteoporosis, Posture, Pulmonary Function, Risk Assessment, Skin, Spine, Vein, and Vision testing.

7 NBC news anchors and celebrities such as New England Patriots star Tedy Bruschi, Red Sox Hall of Famer Jim Rice, Red Sox Great Bill Lee, America's Next Top Model winner Teyona, "Biggest Loser" winner Helen, New England Revolution and Boston Cannon Lacrosse players and many more were at the expo signing autographs.

Visitors were able to have a chance at winning $10,000 in the Virtual Golf hole-in-one contest, sample healthy cuisine and learn how to dance!
